Merry Christmas.
Well, today was pretty good (actually yesterday because it’s like 1:45am). I woke up really late though. I set my alarm for 6:45am, but it never went off. My parents had to wake me up at 8:30. I freaked out because it was so late. I always make sure to be awake early on Christmas Day. Oh well.
I got a laptop for Christmas. I got one last year, but I had to share it with my family. It really wasn’t mine in the end. So now I have one, a year late, but it’s better than nothing. I also got an iPod touch. I am in love with it. The first word I said when I saw it was, “Beautiful,” and it really is. Plus, I got a digital camera. It definitely has it’s faults (semi-cheap or just plain cheap I’m guessing), but it’s better than taking a million pictures on my cell phone.
So I basically got two big things for Christmas, if you include the laptop as last year’s present. I’m very content with everything.
I love this holiday. I like the feeling and vibe that you get from it. It’s refreshing.

I think that my favorite present was all of the snow melting early. I don’t know about all of you guys but my favorite season is spring right after everything melts and it is kind of cool outside. I don’t know why but I am always really happy when that type of weather comes around. it is just so refreshing. Anyways that was really random so… yeah um… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

@Tess,
Really? I love the snow. I don’t like too much where it can get dangerous, but a few inches is perfect. It’s amazing how the world can literally transform into a winter wonderland in such a short time period. I love waking up to see the trees glistening and the street yet to be plowed. Everything is silent and still. Snow can truly bring out the real beauty in things. I love it.
Happy New Year,
Kaitlyn S.
@kaitlynn,
I think that light snow can be really stunning, but my favorite snow is wet snow becasue it is very good packing snow. I love to randomly throw snow balls at my siblings so naturally that type of snow would be my favorite.

Andrew and Austin,
Hey! Thanks for dropping by and leaving comments!
(Some explaining, Andrew and Austin are lifelong friends–Andrew an eighth-grader and Austin in fourth grade–from my neighborhood.
They wanted to see what splendiforous things MadWords Alumni had to say about the world, so I bragged on you and they graced us with their comments!)

Happy New Year!
Christmas for me was boring. For some reason I really wasn’t in the xmas spirit this year, I just wanted it to be over and be 2009 already
I knew everything I was getting because my mom bought everything in front of me….. but a gift is a gift…..
