Wow! We are back!

Posted by: mrmadden | 7 October 2008 | 5 Comments |

Edublogs underwent some upgrades for the past bunch of days, so now I can dig back in and get a “real” post up.

————————————————————————————

I plan now on adding “Author Pages” onto the blog.  I will publish your writing, with your permission, and publish it on a sub-page dedicated to you.  For example, if Brett wants her work for all to see, I will create a page linked on the right sidebar called “Brett” where we can read her works.  You can add more work to your page as we go along.

If, however, you wish to remain anonymous, you can either choose to create an online name, such as TabascoTim, and I would create a page using that name as the link’s title instead of your real name.

Or, if you would like complete anonymity, I will create a page titled “Anonymous Works,” and publish ALL anonymous authors inside.  (You could publish anonymously, then let me know that you would like to lay claim to your work later, and I would create another page dedicated only for your particular work, using whatever name your wish.)

So, enough said.

I expect a learning curve here, that is, I expect the unexpected problems or conflicts, but, how else are we supposed to move forward, yes?

Let me know, please, what you think of the idea, and, of course, begin sending any writing that you would like to see published online with your choice of how you would like to be identified.

As always, MadWords will use the utmost care in providing a safe online place to share your ideas, thoughts, and inpspirations.

This sounds great! How do I give you my work? On a comment? I really have no idea.

Kaitlyn S.

Kaitlyn,

Good point that I did not get specific enough on: Yes, if you have a piece of writing that you would like to see published on this blog, send it to me as a comment, along with your choice of how you would like to be identified, and I will create a sub-page for your writing to be displayed.

If you have a piece on a MS Word document, you should be able to merely copy and paste it into a comment, and I can go from there.

Thanks, Kaitlyn!

i like it

I think that it is a great idea to let students post their work. Could you post a picture and how?

This is a great idea! I might just do this!
