Again commenting on what Delanie said, I finally got a myspace earlier this summer. I’ve wanted for a lonnnggg time, and my parents just said yes. You can post blog entries on it. I’ve posted three so far. They’re just poems that I’ve been writing though. The posts have been viewed a lot, but hardly anyone comments them. I did get a band called “Anarbor” to comment one of them at least!

8 DAYS UNTIL SCHOOL!

Hey Mr.Madden, how has your summer been?Mine has been good.I really enjoyed my month long trip to Monatana in our 70′ Airstream.I also went to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp which was SO cool,I want to go back next summer.I have also been camping at Claybanks Town ship park which is right on Lake Michigan in our Airstream.

Hey Mr. Madden! Like Elise asked…how has your summer been?
Well today was the last day of my basketball tryouts, and everyone who tried out got in! Ya!
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m ready for school! my cousins are so lucky because they started on the 25!!
Well I can’t wait to get my schedule either!!! I’ve been waiting too long to know who I get for seventh grade!!!! I probably will be late for all of my classes since I don’t know where they are! That’s why I want to get to school early!!!!

When do we know what our classes are and who our teachers are?

I think the way the school gives out scheduels on the first day of school is pretty stupid. I mean how do they expect all of us to find our locker and all of our classes in time without us having them beforehand. I don’t know why they have to do that becasue if they screw up someone’s schedule on the 1st day they wouldn’t notice it becasue they would be too busy trying to find their classes.

P.p.s. You guys know how you guys are all ready to go to school and stuff I say hahaha to that becasue I already went to school becasue for my math class at msu we had to go back when the college students did.

Last year, the 7th grade students went to the lunch room while the 8th graders went to the gym to get their schedules. The schedules were in different groups depending on your last name. I’m pretty sure everything will be the same this year.

The paper that you’ll get will look the same as it was in 6th grade. Your classes and locker info will both be on there!

SCHOOL IN basically 3 DAYS!!

I love basketball!!! Well I wouldn’t be so crazy about the math class before school actually started, but if it was a different subject I’d be way more thrilled! But I do like to learn math stuff!!
I seriously cannot wait for school to start at all! I was shocked when my cousin (i’m up at my cottage with my whole family) started working on homework earlier tonight! I forgot she already started school! haha!

My cousin in Tennesse started school like on august 6th. They get out about a month before me though so I guess its the same thing for us.
Do you guys know what would be weird if we had year-round school that would be extremly weird because we would still have the same amount of days we would just have longer winter breaks and shorter summer breaks.
I don’t mind getting my schedule 10 min before my 1st class starts but I don’t understand why we can’t get it before school starts.

so how r the new 6th graders???

Hm I remeber my first day as a 6th grader i was a whole 5inches shorter and I was really scared that I would be tardy for 1 of my classes. I actually was but it was the first day so mrs. z zdidn’t mark me tardy or anything.

yea me too my first hour was mr madden’s too…but to be honest the first week i was scared of him!haha!
but then he was my favorite teacher!

i’m soo bored i have so much homework right now i got alot in math today! :()

I think author pages is a great idea. I think that because if people dont want their names on things they shouldnt have to put it on there. But i also think that if people have a good imagination and a lot of creativity they should put their names on it so people can admire what they have done.
