Okay, so that was weird

I had a couple of very interesting experiences today. There I was, in front of class, blathering on about study habits and test-taking strategies. I was giving examples of what some former star students had done to successfully survive in middle school. A student in the front of class recognized the name of one of the students, and told me that, oh yeah, that person is a friend of my sister. So, hearing this intriguing information, I asked that he tell this alum person (former student) to get in touch with me to share any exciting, chaotic, unique, odd, crazy, and otherwise wonderful things that were going on these days for them.

Low and behold, later this afternoon (same day, you understand) I journeyed to my teacher mailbox, and you would never guess what was sitting patiently for me within: a letter from this person postmarked yesterday! I almost spilled my Tabasco, I was so surprised. I shook my head, and squinted my eyes, thinking, “Whoa! This is weird, huh?”

So, I don’t know. Was it coincidence? Was if fate? Was it great minds thinking alike at the same time? Hmm. Not sure. Doesn’t matter anyway. I believe that it is good to have strange occurrances happen once in a while. It shakes you out of your routine. Keeps you on your toes.

Makes you smile really big smiles.

Now, this has got to have happened to you. Sometime. Somewhere. Yes?

Well, what was it? We are listening.
