A rather boring title, fairly much. But, I am interested. You folks have been given a GLPS e-mail account, free and everything (but monitored for safety reasons, nonetheless).
What will you do with it? Who will you write? Is this a step forward in the forward-thinking 21st century? You are the first generation of GLPS middle schoolers to have such an extravagance (I like that word.)
Does this change anything for you? As a student? As a citizen (outside of school)?
Does it smack of “the world is my oyster” kind of feeling? Or, are you left completely unimpressed?
Has this news caught you off guard? Did you not know of this from your teachers? Well, if you didn’t, you can go to http://webmail.glps.k12.mi.us and input your usual GLPS network id and password. Same as if you were logging into the network at school.
Remember, this is a luxury, a privilege, so be smart about using the system. There is no rewind button in life, especially on the Internet, and always with e-mail.
Write forth.
